प्रश्नहरू छन्?

बारम्बार सोधिने प्रश्नहरू

How difficult is the Everest Base Camp trek?

It is a moderate-to-strenuous trek rated 5/7. No technical climbing is involved, but you walk 5–7 hours most days at high altitude, reaching 5,545 m at Kala Patthar. The 14-day itinerary includes two dedicated acclimatisation days, which is why trekkers of all fitness levels complete it successfully with good preparation.

How do you reduce the risk of altitude sickness?

The itinerary is built around gradual ascent with two acclimatisation days (Namche Bazaar and Dingboche) and a 'climb high, sleep low' rhythm. Your senior Sherpa guide monitors everyone daily and carries a first-aid kit; a supplementary oxygen cylinder is available from Namche onward. If symptoms appear, the plan builds in time to rest or descend.

What is the best time of year to trek to Everest Base Camp?

Spring (March–May) and autumn (late September–November) offer the most stable weather, clear mountain views and comfortable daytime temperatures. Autumn brings the crispest post-monsoon visibility; spring adds blooming rhododendron forest below Tengboche.

What permits are required, and are they included?

You need the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit and the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality (TIMS-equivalent) card. Both are arranged for you and included in the trek price — you do not need to organise them separately.

What kind of accommodation can I expect on the trail?

You stay in family-run teahouse lodges on a twin-sharing basis (13 nights on the trail plus one hotel night in Kathmandu). Rooms are simple and clean; hot showers, device charging and Wi-Fi are usually available for a small local fee at most stops.
